Music Festival
Dates have been set for the 2010 Corofin Traditional Music Festival. This year’s event will run from Monday March 1st to Sunday March 7th. The festival has been gaining in popularity each year and a full programme for 2010 is currently being drawn up by the organising committee. Scoil Muire, Corofin. A number of events are being considered to mark the occasion and these will take place over the week-end of May 1st and 2nd. The highlight of the week-end will be a reunion function, while a special commemorative booklet is being prepared also for the occasion. The organisers have already collected a huge number of photographs for the publication but as one would expect the majority of these relate to school groups over the past thirty years. For this reason they would particularly welcome any group photos covering the 1940’s, 50’s or 60’s.
